West End Trap Club was established in 1947. The club was relocated to its current site in Eagan in 1969. The West End Trap club is a public organization comprised of roughly 600 members including families: males, females and children.
Our club is geared for both recreational and avid shooters. We have four ATA regulation trap fields with 16 – 27 yard stations, a club house and ample parking. In the winter of 2015, we added a 5-stand course. It is similar to sporting clays. Come try it out; you are sure to have a good time!
We offer winter, summer and fall leagues, both traditional and 16-yard. We also sponsor 4 high school leagues that are part of the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League.
All trap fields have electric trap machines and are staffed by trained trap personnel. Of the four trap machines capable of throwing single and double targets, two can be used for wobble trap. As a public course, shooting hours are plenty and there are several leagues to join to improve your skills.
Our commitment to safety extends into our community with our sponsorships of several hunter safety courses for area youth and adults.
Located close to a residential neighborhood, we strive to be good neighbors.
We do not rent out guns.
We encourage you to visit us and shoot a few rounds. We look forward to seeing you!
